Here's a wonderful Antique Graphic of a Fancy Old Victorian Clock! This one came out of an 1880's Jewelers and Watch Catalog. I love the contrast of the white Scrolls and Swirls against the black!
Also, if you are a blogger, you my be interested in my latest post over on my DIY Blog. I've created a list of Seasonal ideas for DIY Bloggers to post about, for each month of the year.

Love this...thank you for posting all the wonderful images that you do.

Ooooohhhhhhh swwwwwwoooooooooooon!
ReplyDeleteI have a clock of my great grandmother's that looks almost identical to this image! Thank you for sharing all the wonderful graphics you do every day ~ it is greatly appreciated! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen - this reminds me so much of a clock we had when I was very young - it had a marble case like this one appears to have
ReplyDeleteI think my grandfather bought it from the local auction house, and got it going - it was known to strike 13 on occasions, and you could never rely on the chimes to tell the correct time from them, but the mechanism itself was fine and it kept good time if you looked at it :-).
My parents eventually moved to a more modern house and had no mantelpiece strong enough or large enough to accommodate it there, so it went back to the auction house!
Thanks again for the image and the memories.
Blessings
Maxine
