This is an adorable
Silhouette from a rare
1870's Children's Book! Shown above is a cute little
Girl and her Dog! I'm doing something a little different today, in addition to the JPEG image above, I'm also offering a
Free Vector Download! I've included a zip file with both EPS and AI files of this graphic, or those of you that use Illustrator or other similar programs. I've never done this before so, I'm hoping I did it correctly!! Let me know if you have a use for these types of files.
Yes I use them all the time with my Sure-Cuts-Alot program. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHello Karen. The Illustrator file did not open. The file says that it needs to be re-saved ... seems to be a PDF issue that you have to click off when you save.
ReplyDeleteHi Lorrie, I left the PDF part off of the AI file, so that it would take up less space. When you download it though, you will get the graphic. I know it looks weird in the preview, I thought the same thing that you did, but once I downloaded it, it was fine!
DeleteBoth saved just fine for me in CS-6. Thanks so much Karen, love having things in this format...so much easier to manipulate and get great results.

I'm glad you guys can use them! I'll be offering more of these in the future!
ReplyDeleteSilhouettes are ever popular! This is one of the best I've seen! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen!! First off, thanks so much for sharing all these wonderful images! I can't tell you how much I enjoy them all. Especially the ones featuring cats. :) This one is absolutely adorable and was calling to me to use as a Valentine image. So I did! I have altered it a little, but won't reveal it until Valentine's Day. :)
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of things in Illustrator and so when you upload it like that it's easier to manipulate, and of course the vector is better (more crisp etc) for more uses, but it's fine for me if you just do a jpg or pdf and then I just open it in Photoshop and play from there. Just thought you'd want to know. Thanks for all you do!
